Legalize it!

When you know you'll wake every day of your life in pain, be it mental, physical, or both, you lose hope. When there's no, or little relief while using pharmaceutical and other treatment plans, going on seems pointless. Everyone needs a quality of life, they can live with, in order to be well.

Seeing how cannabis improves the lives of people with ailments like multiple sclerosis and epilepsy should make anyone question the ethics of those who would force ill people to take man made drugs that aren’t working, when there are natural drugs available experiencing great success. Cannabis has been effective in the treatment of many of the ailments that Jesus and his disciples healed people of, such as skin disease (Matt 8, 10, 11 Mark 1; Luke 5, 7, 17) eye (John 9:6-15 ) and menstrual problems (Luke 8:43-48).

There is currently no specific treatment for Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. Cannabis is therapeutically beneficial for treating many liver disorders and has also shown to possess liver protective properties and to promote liver health (Yang, et al., 2014). Twelve states have approved medical marijuana specifically for the treatment of hepatitis C. For many, cannabis use replaces more addictive and dangerous (though legal and prescribed) medications that treat ADHD, anxiety, headaches, and insomnia.

"Twenty-four people die in Utah each month from prescription drug overdose, according to the most recently published data from 2014. That puts Utah in the Top 5 states with the highest rate of drug deaths," UDOH (Utah Dept of Health) says. Because marijuana is illegal in Utah, recreational as well as medicinal users are forced to buy on the street, where they are often exposed to hard drugs. This is how marijuana becomes a "gateway drug". Legalization would give users access without exposure to hard drugs and criminal activity.
